About quantefit

Purpose

Quantefit has been designed to help people of all levels achieve their fitness goals in a supportive and motivating environment. It is starting in the smallest of ways but with the hope that your support can grow it into a movement that positively impacts the health and lives of people across the world. The goal of this system is to establish a universal measure of overall fitness in the same way that the decathlon scoring table measures the best all around athlete at the Olympics and the golf handicap systems allows golfers around the world to compare ability and monitor improvement.

Philosophy

Exercise is the best medicine

If something is important, measure it

Every improvement, no matter how small, deserves to be celebrated

Exercise is more fun with friends

People

The quantefit scoring system has been developed in collaboration with the brightest and most sought after minds in human performance. This group includes world leading athletes, coaches, doctors and professors.

The system is further enhanced through the contributions of proprietary ai  technology. And finally, you the user are also an integral component in the perpetual refinement of this metastable system.

Process

The system evaluates fitness across ten different categories that represent a full range of fitness demands. It combines absolute strength, relative strength, anerobic power, strength endurance, aerobic power, aerobic capacity and body composition. Every category allows users to score between 0 and 100 points, with the overall score being assessed out of 1000 points. The anchors for the point range are generally based around the 1% concept. This concept dictates that only 1% of the healthy adult population should be able to achieve 100 points for any given category and all but 1% of the healthy adult population should be able to score some points in any category.
